Welcome to the Futures of AI!

This project is a non-profit research initiative that combines foresight, systems, and stories to explore how the futures of artificial intelligence (AI) will evolve over the coming years in the American context. Our aim is to help all stakeholders impacted by AI navigate socio-economic and political upheavals we are currently experiencing.

Our deliverables include:

• Drivers (available now): The underlying forces influencing AI

• Scenarios: How might the futures of AI unfold?

• Micro-Fictions: Short narratives that bring the scenarios to life

• Ledgers: More on this soon

• Strategies: What various stakeholders should do given the shifting landscape

• Our Raw Data Set: We’ll release this at the end, once all the work is done (we tend to collect data until the very last day)

This is an “all ships rise with the tide project. It is also a work in progress; we’ll share our insights and materials as we develop them.
